I actually meant to mention that LGP could be a possibility but I will need to do some studying on that. I think you could also do a gradient like feature? I am running out of time before our San Diego trip- I have 2 weekends to get a car ready for comfortable road-tripping, and it seems that I can now do about 10% in a weekend that I once could. Nice work guys, i've been playing with making some in my K40 in preparation for my new laser and looking for those aluminum channels so thanks for sharing with us, here is what i made so far, this are my first attempts.

I have made night lights for all of my peeps with youngsters and they all love them. Unfortunately I don't think there is money to be made in that field... and my mercenary side is ascending :twisted:. Gene

Is there a place that just sells the bases already assembled and ready for acrylic?

I would like to find them as well- all it would take is a specialized extrusion and a couple end caps. I am making another half dozen of the oak ones tomorrow- not too bad with a CNC router but it would be quicker and easier with a cheap router table. Gene

Yep, at least one company. Ive seen where it isn't received well for business use, and they ar spendy

John, could you please expand on this statement? Businesses don't like the signs or laser cutters don't like the business that sells the lighting kits or?

The bases weren't seen as quality items from what I've heard. Signs are OK.
