I'm in the shop today, Renewing 3 extractor fans, fitting new water tanks and fitting 3 new water filter systems to keep the water clear and clean. Went to fit a new 50w laser tube and the end piece closest to the mirror was off the main tube, Tried a little epoxy resin to glue it back on, Cross fingers. Shop now looks like a building site.

Best do it now rather than get caught later at a most inopportune moment !

Good luck with the gluing !!!! :)

I had the same problem with my laser tube with the end next to mirror coming off when disconnecting the hose. What type of epoxy did you use. Has the tube worked without problem since you repaired it?

I used 2 tonne epoxy, Glued fine BUT after installing the laser tube, Tried a test fire and the end with the thick red cable, the metal ring was arcing to the bodywork of the laser casing. This is the down side to holding spare parts, Supplier won't take it back as I have had it for 6 months, So I have had to order a new one. Oh the joys.

Malcolm, Given the amount of work you do, I would suggest you order a quality tube as a replacement. Something like what Russ has.
