3D acrylic sign

Post by Gene Uselman »

One of our designers built this- we put two faced tape on the back of a sheet of acrylic and I cut all the pieces and she painted some of the parts orange and stuck it all together [she made a pattern to place everything]. A bit of work but it is stunning in person. 18" wide and the holes are for standoffs.

Very nice! The addition of the slotted screws is a nice touch.

I love 3D sign work but it is a very specialized field and unless you have a reputation for that sort of work it is hard to make a living at it. That said, it is a lot of fun trying to figure out how to bring some of these logos to life. I have had a 3D sign company on the side for many years but I got tired of giving my work away... now I make what I like and... give it away. Life is circles within circles.
