Thanks in advance for any help.
My wifes omtech 50 watt B/G had a power surge. The communications no longer works to laser. I have tried Udisk, USB and cat5. Lightburn wont communicate. It also got her desktop computer. I purchased a Rudia RDC6442S/G to replaced the KT332N. I have done Instrumentations/electronics offshore for 25 years so this is not foreign to me but and do's and don't from anyone that has experience with this would be thankful.
Thanks
Steve

Re: Rudia KT332N swap to Rudia RDC6442S/G
This should be quite straight forward swap for you. The KT series looks like a budget model- the 6442 series is rock solid. I would think even the nomenclature should be very similar. They all use the same machine memory files and if you used Lightburn at all before the big crash, you should have the backup files that LB saves for us. The [what used to be called Vendor files in the early days] can be read and edited and compared with Notepad++.
I have done a fair amount of controller transplants... and I even remember some of it

Re: Rudia KT332N swap to Rudia RDC6442S/G
Thanks Gene I have the controller swapped and the machine is running. Just looks like the speed displayed on the HMI and the actual speed set to run in Light burn are very different. Example set to 150 mm/sec Hmi shows running at 3810. Which I know it is running at 150. Just thought it maybe the acc setting and such. If you have a bae file that would be great.
Thanks
Steve

If you look for our Rescue files you should find one similar to your machine bed size and homing location- you can experiment or do a comparison with a plug-in to Notepad++.
