I have just documented myself to make myself a rotary for the engraver.
If I understood correctly, you just have to connect a stepper motor on the Y axis, and adjust on the software.
(of course the chassis and the 2 supports which must turn in the same direction, but everyone is free to create their own system ^^)
This seems too simple to me, is there anything else to do ?
(controller / circuit / ... ???)
Create a rotary tool

Re: Create a rotary tool
You strike me as someone who enjoys building? I have built several rotaries and have developed plans and instructions... I used one that Russ built from acrylic as my starting point and redesigned it with 2020 extrusions and leadscrews. PM me your email and I will send it to you [no stepper or cable to the controller needed].
