Hi Pepsi
What program did you use to be able to cut the out line on both number 14 and 16.
I'm really struggling to work out how to cut an outline of a given shape.

Thanks
Kev

Preben, Could you please post the link of where to purchase those patterns you cut into the Acrylic. When the forum crashed the other day, I lost that link. Malcolm would also like to get them.

Thanks,
Keith

Hi Jacob- I had never heard of this so I googled:

ACRYLITE® LED acrylic sheets offer innovative lighting solutions when combined with LED technology. These specialty products are ideal for backlighting or edge illumination and offer maximum light transmission without any disturbing hot spots.

Interesting- I will look into it. Gene

Pepsi did you have any issues with fogging around the cuts? I had to use a tape mask to eliminate it. BTW, great project.

Dave..:
No I had no problems with fogging. Maybe because of very well suction and modification of the air assist..?
But you can always use masking tape to avoid these problems.

Today, I tried using hand soap as a mask, and it worked perfectly for me.
For this I grabbed a bar of soap and dipped it in water, the rubbed it on my acrylic sheet until I had even coverage, then I placed in the machine and made my cuts. Next, I washed and dried the acryilic.

No signs of fogging, and no tape to peel.
