Hi everyone, I have a CO2 laser I built myself. It was about 3 years in the making due to never having enough time in the day. Originally intended to be 1300 x 900mm bed size but ended up closer to 900 x 500mm. Currently 60w but would like to upgrade to 80w when the current tube dies. I'm doing what seems like never ending upgrades - current upgrade is to the bed and z axis system as there's some movement forward to back which means there's some inconsistency in origin.
I saw Russ' upgraded lightweight head and would like to incorporate that in to the machine also. Hoping it'll allow faster cutting speeds as there's a bit of wobble on acceleration.
Cheers, Denyse

Re: Hello
Welcome Denyse- these machines are a process of working out issues even with ' factory ' built machines. If you are patient you will end with a delightful machine that will work for you and entertain you. Gene
