Pretty nice Malcolm. What size are they? I am assuming Slate rather than Granite.

Yes Slate, Size is 250 x 250 speed for the photo's is 400 @ 12 to 22 power.. Text is 400 @ 40 power
Just done the 1st 2 of 16 for the RAF, Didn't have time tonight to take a photo. RAF squadron is disbanding and the boss wants to give all the crews a going away present. The secret is don't sell them toooooooooooo cheap or people will think they are crap.

The photographs come out excellent.

Is the slate treated in any way like the sublimation ones used in a heat press
Planning either a 60W or 80W laser

No treatment what so ever, You can if you wish apply clear linseed oil after you have engraved it to darken down the slate.
