Hello to All, My name is Paul Harrison and I'm an Engineer/Inventor/Entrepreneur and the owner of LaserBond 100 as well as the original inventor of the TherMark/CerMark laser bonding technology. I founded TherMark in 1996 and licensed my patents to Ferro Corporation, the producer of the CerMark products in 2004. I finally sold my interest in TherMark to an investor group in 2011; which in turn sold TherMark to Ferro Corporation in 2015. Unfortunately I've spent many years in patent related litigation with both TherMark and Ferro, but we've finally reached a settlement that allows me to get back into the business without fear of further litigation. More information on this prolonged litigation and patent infringement is available on my website blog: http://www.laserbondingtech.com I will be writing a series of articles about the various uses for laser bonding technology in general and more specifically about my pending patent which should make color marking possible within a year or two - depending on the US Patent Office.

I have a 50 watt ULS VersaLaser, a 45 watt GCC Spirit GX and a 10 watt IPG fiber laser; however, I haven't used the RD Works software yet and I'm looking forward to learning more about it and how to assist people who are using it in conjunction with the TherMark, CerMark or LaserBond 100 products.

Currently there is Special Introductory New Year pricing available to RD Works Lab members for the LaserBond 100 products at a special URL: http://laserbondingtech.com/lbt-special ... order.html

For assistance, everyone can reach me through this forum or my website.

Hi Paul- I got the can you sent me yesterday and I am running tests today on aluminum and (shortly) on brushed aluminum ACM (aluminum composite material- think Dibond). I have high hopes for the brushed ACM- that would be a very useful thing. Gene

Well, shucks. I found this link AFTER purchasing a container of the stuff. Perhaps when/if I run out, I'll have learned my lesson and return to the good-price link!
